Mr Karan Jolly obtained his medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 2011 and has always been fascinated by the detailed anatomy of the head and neck. He has pursued this passion by embarking on a career in surgery and is currently a Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery Consultant at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Jolly completed a fellowship in Vancouver, based at the world-renowned St Paul’s Sinus Centre and Vancouver General Hospital, where he gained exposure to complex tertiary inflammatory and skull base cases. Prior to this, he successfully completed his training in the West Midlands, with 18 months dedicated to skull base surgery during his specialist training years.
During his surgical training, Mr Jolly has furthered his knowledge and skill set by mastering complex procedures and developing a deeper understanding of his field.
He continues to be actively involved in research and has successfully published numerous articles in prestigious journals, presenting his findings both nationally and internationally. Mr Jolly has also been awarded a national medal by the Royal College of Surgeons in recognition of his ongoing commitment and interest in research. He remains dedicated to providing a high level of care for his patients and consistently strives to deliver the best possible outcomes.
